Please vote tomorrow.

Dear friends,

Tomorrow's election is extremely important. Voters will decide whether to give the Mayor greatly expanded powers, and the results will impact Columbia for generations to come.

Personally, I'm voting "no" because the proposed change would eliminate checks and balances by giving too much power to a single person.

I believe more checks and balances are needed, not less.

Regardless of your position, I hope you'll go to the polls and make your voice heard. Participation by as many as possible keeps our community healthy and strong.

And if you're still undecided, I hope you'll read this article published recently by the Free Times. (I've also pasted the article below.) It's perhaps the most objective, comprehensive article yet on the "strong mayor" issue.

It is an honor to serve you. As always, call on me if I can help you on any matter.

Your friend, Moe Baddourah
